Young Chamber supports Enterprise Week 2007 With activity across the UK
Over 40 Young Chambers across the UK are supporting Enterprise Week (12-18 November) with a wide range of exciting activities aimed at connecting students with local businesses, enhancing relevant work skills and enabling them to learn how their ideas can be used to benefit their local communities and others.

Monday 12th: Taking part in national ‘make your mark’ challenge.

Wednesday 14th: Women’s Enterprise Day.
Female students from all schools and Children’s Minister, Beverley Hughes, will attend event and hear from 4/5 inspirational women speakers.

Cullompton Community College : Launch of Young Chamber Council Mini Enterprise Scheme, Social enterprise events to raise money for identified charities.
Patchway Community College :
Business Skills Week. Working with local business concentrating on a different business skill each day.

Dover Grammar School for Boys Launch Christmas fayre social enterprise project. Profits to support Ethiopia fund.
Invicta Girls Grammar School 14 November : World of Work Day. 180 x Y10 students to visit local businesses.
Maplesdone Noakes School Young Chamber Board launch Enterprise Fund.
Oakmeeds Community College Mid Sussex Board Room Challenge. Competition against partner secondary schools.
St. Bartholomews School Taking part in national ‘make your mark’ challenge.

Linton Village College Inter school business challenge.
The Leventhorpe School Young Chamber talent event 'Amp in Sawbo' involving performance of young bands.
The Priory School Launch Young Chamber Investment Scheme – give loans/grants to students for business ideas following Dragons Den format for interviews.
Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce and Linton Village College Business Competition on Wednesday November 14 as part of Enterprise Week, the competition is being judged by members of the chamber and will give best practices in the business world.
